Hey there, I’m Courtney and I’m so glad you’re here! For the last 10 years or so, I’ve had the joy of capturing families and events through the art of photography—and specifically the timeless look of film photography.

This craft has taught me to slow down and remind me of what really matters. And, if i may be so bold, I don’t believe photos are what matter. They Simply remind us of what really does. As a wife & mom, i’m learning (and re-learning daily!) what it means to love, serve and enjoy these precious lives entrusted to me here on this earth. I’ve found that when I make a practice of remembering, it helps for the moments i don’t feel very loving or patient.

And I want the same for you.

if you’re anything like me, there are times when it feels like you & your husband are just not seeing eye to eye on a single thing.

Remember.

There are times when your baby was up all night teething. you’re covered in spit up, and the only showers in the forecast are for the actual weather—not you. Oh, also, your DIY toddler just poured themselves a bowl of cereal all over the floor and you have less than 10 minutes to somehow get everyone fed and out the door to get your oldest to school on time.

Remember.

Remembering takes practice and courage and persistence, but, oh, it is so worth it. To look back and remember the wedding vows you made to each other—you knew it wouldn’t be easy sometimes, but you didn’t know it would be this hard! but there is strength and grace in remembering. To look back at that tiny toddler cherub face and you thought (at least in the moment) that you could never be angry at or impatient with them. Call the old stories to mind and find strength and grace for the hard times. Dear friends, let me aid you in choosing to remember what truly matters!

“I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done. I ponder the work of your hands.” Psalm 143:5
